Interested in programming? Have an idea for an app but don’t know your Ruby from your Xcode? Want to see what all the fuss is about?
Join local programmers THIS SATURDAY (Father’s Day gift, maybe?) at UH for Introduction to Programming, a one-day session on programming, explained specifically for beginners and those with no experience. The course will be delivered by Kevin McCarthy and Kyle Oba, two of Honolulu’s top developers.
From the course description, the session will cover how to use programming as a way to explore your ideas, se a visual approach allowing for more immediate feedback, and how to draw, animate, and experiment with software that you write.
Since the session is designed for beginners, there are no prerequisites. No previous programming experience is required, but a curiosity about how computers work is required.
The session is this Saturday, June 15, from 9:00am to 4:00pm at UHM Sinclair Library Basement Room 3. The cost of the course is $135.
