The Hawaii Agricultural Foundation has set aside 20 ALL DAY PASSES for education and technology related NGOs that can be offered at a special rate of $69. AlohaStartup readers qualify for this rate. This rate is limited to 20 tickets and is available on a first come, first serve basis and:

1) Is NOT available for purchase on the HawaiiFoodandWineFestival.com website
2) To reserve a space, please complete the contact form
3) Must be education and technology related NGOs

5) $69 special price is only good for the ALL DAY PASS, no special rates on individual sessions

The notorious and hungry VC, Dave McClure, founding partner of 500 Startups, kicks-off our morning session with a presentation on the intersection of food and technology. How are social applications and crowd sourced reviews changing the landscape for food related businesses? The second-half of the session is a fast pitch with foodie startups pitching our panel of VC, restauranteurs and media experts. Whether you’re an established business or a startup this is an opportunity to discuss and learn how technology is changing the future of food.

LUNCH: Setting the 21st Century Table in Hawaii featuring Alan Wong, Celestino

Join chefs Alan Wong, Celestino Drago, Ed Kenney and Michel Nischan as they cook and share their delicious ideas on what goes on a 21st century plate. Take a bite of the 21st century as you graze and gather with stellar chefs and farmers including: Naked Cow Dairy, Ho Farms, North Shore Tilapia and Ma’o Farms. Master sommelier Chuck Furuya will pair wines with each delectable dish. What does the future taste like? Four masters chefs and innovative farmers join forces to create a delicious lunch. This is an intimate gathering and tickets are limited.
